Danail Mitzakov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marian Minkovski in the 17th minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Maritza's goal looked a bit too open when Renaud Specht came free, but Danail Mitzakov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC BerserkerS's Remigio Orlondo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nencho Markovski in the 30th minute of play. Danail Mitzakov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marian Minkovski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Danail Mitzakov came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by FC BerserkerS's Marian Minkovski. But to his dismay, Marian Minkovski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Maritza's Danail Mitzakov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marian Minkovski in the 38th minute of play. Remigio Orlondo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pavlin Dzhegalski showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 42 minute of play. In the 45th minute, Volodya Zdravchev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Remigio Orlondo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nencho Markovski, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The Maritza players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC BerserkerS were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Renaud Specht to make the kick off.
