Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sabahattin Sarbay took the kick off in the first half of the match. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Halis Mengüer took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Serhat Çoğahan to make any attempt to save it. Serhat Çoğahan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Halis Mengüer, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Gönen FK's goalkeeper Serhat Çoğahan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Süruri Pala. Halis Mengüer might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Serhat Çoğahan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Halis Mengüer ran back to his position shaking his head. Süruri Pala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Serhat Çoğahan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sabri Ilgın kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Süruri Pala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serhat Çoğahan having to interfere. In the 29th minute Halis Mengüer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serhat Çoğahan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Serhat Çoğahan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Halis Mengüer, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Halis Mengüer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Süruri Pala had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Serhat Çoğahan. Gönen FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Süruri Pala was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Halis Mengüer made a kick off. Serhat Çoğahan came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Cumaova's Halis Mengüer. But to his dismay, Halis Mengüer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Gönen FK's Serhat Çoğahan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Halis Mengüer in the 60th minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Cumaova's Süruri Pala nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Serhat Çoğahan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Süruri Pala struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Serhat Çoğahan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cumaova. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Süruri Pala put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Serhat Çoğahan. 77 minutes into the game, Cumaova's Süruri Pala nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Serhat Çoğahan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Serhat Çoğahan came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Cumaova's Halis Mengüer. But to his dismay, Halis Mengüer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Süruri Pala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serhat Çoğahan having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Gönen FK's goal looked a bit too open when Süruri Pala came free, but Serhat Çoğahan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ekber Tuyan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sabahattin Sarbay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Halis Mengüer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serhat Çoğahan having to interfere.
