After 3 minutes, Göktürk Kuluk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the İskenderunspor and the YOZGAT SPOR 1959 FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Arın Yezid received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Gürsel Dilan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gürsel Dilan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hulusi Müslim in the 11th minute of the match. Kurtuluş Baltaş recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 15 minutes into the match, Hulusi Müslim notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of İskenderunspor's Gürsel Dilan. Gürsel Dilan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Hulusi Müslim sped through İskenderunspor's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gürsel Dilan. Gürsel Dilan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurtuluş Baltaş in the 29th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hulusi Müslim in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gürsel Dilan saved İskenderunspor from getting behind. Baskın Özbal hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, İskenderunspor's Alim Şahinter got a free kick in the 38th minute. After having played for 39 minutes, Samir Canfeda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. YOZGAT SPOR 1959 FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samir Canfeda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 41 minutes into the game, İlhami Tanuğur was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. İskenderunspor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave YOZGAT SPOR 1959 FK the free kick. In the 41st match minute, İskenderunspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İlhami Tanuğur to maneuver through the defense. In the 42ndth minute of the game Hulusi Müslim who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but İskenderunspor's Gürsel Dilan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 43 minutes of play, YOZGAT SPOR 1959 FK's Kurtuluş Baltaş made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gürsel Dilan was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Hulusi Müslim made the kick off in the second half. Hulusi Müslim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Gürsel Dilan made a huge save. Kurtuluş Baltaş struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Gürsel Dilan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for YOZGAT SPOR 1959 FK. Gürsel Dilan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hulusi Müslim's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Gürsel Dilan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hulusi Müslim, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. If Kurtuluş Baltaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Hulusi Müslim managed to get in a good position for a shot. YOZGAT SPOR 1959 FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Hulusi Müslim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gürsel Dilan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hulusi Müslim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gürsel Dilan having to interfere. Hulusi Müslim in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gürsel Dilan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When İlhami Tanuğur was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 77 minutes had been played. In the 77th minute, İlhami Tanuğur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When YOZGAT SPOR 1959 FK's Hulusi Müslim in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye İskenderunspor's goalie prevented a goal. Gürsel Dilan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hulusi Müslim showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 86 minute of play.
