Besim Şahdar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baykal Ergül in the 39th minute of the match. Çakır Okkan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Besim Şahdar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
