Göktan İskender made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jose Altermatt in the 3rd minute. In the 4th minute Jim Van Beersel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Göktan İskender saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Göktan İskender made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bülent Ersoy in the 6th minute of play. Jose Altermatt struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Göktan İskender didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TEXAS SNAKES. Göktan İskender made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Ingvar Mattsson sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as TEXAS SNAKES's Wesley Snider slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Göktan İskender. That made the score 1-0 after 14 minutes of play. Jarl Bergström's late challenge caught a TEXAS SNAKES's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jarl Bergström helped the player get up and apologised. Jarl Bergström hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Sait Demirkan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hakkı Devrim Selman in the 20th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Gencay Ünaldi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Alican İkinci fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored REDLİON FC's protests and gave Alican İkinci a yellow card for diving instead. After 22 played minutes REDLİON FC got a freekick which was hit by Alican İkinci. In the 24th minute Bülent Ersoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Göktan İskender saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 31 minutes, Jose Altermatt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TEXAS SNAKES's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jose Altermatt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bülent Ersoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Göktan İskender having to interfere. Jose Altermatt who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Göktan İskender when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as TEXAS SNAKES's Jose Altermatt slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Göktan İskender. That made the score 3-0 after 43 minutes of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jose Altermatt made a kick off. Jose Altermatt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Göktan İskender having to make a save. In the 52nd minute, Bülent Ersoy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 54th match minute, REDLİON FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celalettin Uğural to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in REDLİON FC's zone, Bülent Ersoy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Göktan İskender came out of the goal and Bülent Ersoy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wesley Snider in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Göktan İskender prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Altermatt in the 62nd minute of play forced REDLİON FC's goalkeeper Göktan İskender to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the match, REDLİON FC's Santa Lionheart sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sait Demirkan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 64th minute Bülent Ersoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Göktan İskender saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bülent Ersoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Göktan İskender having to interfere. Wesley Snider fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Göktan İskender having to interfere. TEXAS SNAKES's Wesley Snider got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jose Altermatt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jose Altermatt struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Göktan İskender didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TEXAS SNAKES.
