Spectators: 6660 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Doğa Karaca took the kick off in the first half of the match. Yaman Öztay scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ataman Coşkun, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Yaman Öztay's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ataman Coşkun was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Catalca defense, Vacib Özdağ kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ataman Coşkun. The Catalca fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ataman Coşkun should have stopped the shot. If Vacib Özdağ had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Akyazi JK's Yaman Öztay in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Catalca's goalie prevented a goal. After 25 minutes of play, Akyazi JK's Yaman Öztay made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ataman Coşkun was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ataman Coşkun came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Akyazi JK's Vacib Özdağ. But to his dismay, Vacib Özdağ quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Ataman Coşkun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vacib Özdağ in the 40th minute of play. Catalca's Ataman Coşkun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vacib Özdağ in the 46th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Akyazi JK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 47th minute. Penalty! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yaman Öztay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Yaman Öztay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ataman Coşkun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Naci Özbala in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ataman Coşkun saved Catalca from getting behind. Vacib Özdağ could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Ataman Coşkun made a huge save. Yaman Öztay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ataman Coşkun having to interfere. Birdal Akar's late challenge caught a Akyazi JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Birdal Akar helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Akyazi JK booed when Catalca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Birdal Akar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ataman Coşkun made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Vacib Özdağ sent off a good shot on target. After 71 minutes, Ertunç Akpınar made it 3-4 with a short kick to the right side. Akyazi JK's Baybars Altuncuoğlu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Catalca booed when Akyazi JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yaman Öztay didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes had been played when some careless play by Catalca's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sungurbey Bergin was slow to take the kick. During this time Akyazi JK's players had a chance to rest. Akyazi JK's Sungurbey Bergin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ataman Coşkun in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ertunç Akpınar hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Ataman Coşkun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yaman Öztay in the 92nd minute of play. Akyazi JK's Yaman Öztay suffered a sore thigh after 96 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 97 minutes, Ali Vedat Özbala mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Catalca and the Akyazi JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 96th minute, one of Catalca:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Catalca. The Akyazi JK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Akyazi JK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
