Yusuf Bahadır Hıfzullah hit a great ball. Orhan Seyfi Yankı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehmet Efe Temizöz in the 20th minute of the match. Göksun Genç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Refik Halit Cenker in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Berkan Şehzat saved Edremit from getting behind. 31 minutes into the game, Persembe's Göksun Genç nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Berkan Şehzat made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Berkan Şehzat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Göksun Genç in the 51st minute of play. 52 minutes into the match, Edremit's goal looked a bit too open when Hüsnü Boğatekin came free, but Berkan Şehzat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 53 minutes, Hüsnü Boğatekin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Persembe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hüsnü Boğatekin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 54th match minute, Edremit was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yiğitcan Utkan to maneuver through the defense. 56 minutes into the game, Hüsnü Boğatekin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Berkan Şehzat was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Yiğitcan Utkan charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hüsnü Boğatekin in the 78th minute of play forced Edremit's goalkeeper Berkan Şehzat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
