In the 27th minute, Abidin Erşahin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 35 minutes, Gürbüz Atacan made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Karabaglar's Sabri Oykan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Nurettin Bakırhan hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Mithat Oksay was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 39th minute. Cay's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 39 minutes into the game, Gürbüz Atacan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sabri Oykan. Gürbüz Atacan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Mithat Oksay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Cay booed when Karabaglar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nurettin Bakırhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gürbüz Atacan made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Gürbüz Atacan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cay's supporters rose to their feet, but Gürbüz Atacan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sabri Oykan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 56 minutes into the match, Karabaglar's goal looked a bit too open when Mithat Oksay came free, but Sabri Oykan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute Gürbüz Atacan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabri Oykan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sabri Oykan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Çağrı Kuthan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gürbüz Atacan during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 79 minutes of play, Cay's Gürbüz Atacan made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sabri Oykan was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 84th minute, Bünyamin Tümay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Mithat Oksay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gürbüz Atacan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sabri Oykan having to interfere. There was no doubt that Cay were the better team. Cay's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
