Köprübasi's Güney Terzioğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Köprübasi from getting a goal against them. Güney Terzioğlu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kutay Erensoy in the 7th minute. After having played for 8 minutes, İsmet Tezer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yeni Malatyaspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but İsmet Tezer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Atilla Bumin Üner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 18 minutes, Atilla Bumin Üner mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Köprübasi and the Yeni Malatyaspor players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Köprübasi's Atilla Bumin Üner got a free kick in the 18th minute. Kutay Erensoy who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Güney Terzioğlu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Köprübasi's Karahan Direm got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Atilla Bumin Üner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 25th minute, Atilla Bumin Üner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Köprübasi's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Kutay Erensoy scored to the left of an out of position Güney Terzioğlu, making the score, 2-0. 30 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Yeni Malatyaspor's Kutay Erensoy fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karahan Direm during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kutay Erensoy made a kick off. Güney Terzioğlu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kutay Erensoy's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Kutay Erensoy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Güney Terzioğlu. Köprübasi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kutay Erensoy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. The audience was convinced that Kutay Erensoy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Güney Terzioğlu was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. 67 minutes into the match, Köprübasi's Karahan Direm sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Turgut Cenan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 73 minutes Yeni Malatyaspor's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Onuralp Günay who took care of the corner kick.
