Spectators: 6650 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Duman Başsoy took the kick off in the first half of the match. Derviş Kemalettin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Anton Pașcanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rupert Clements stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nebi Şahvar's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute Osman Olcaytu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rupert Clements saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Nebi Şahvar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Balıkesir FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nebi Şahvar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rupert Clements breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17th minute Nebi Şahvar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rupert Clements saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, fenerbahçe's goal looked a bit too open when Nebi Şahvar came free, but Rupert Clements reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rupert Clements made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nebi Şahvar in the 20th minute of play. Derviş Kemalettin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Anton Pașcanu made a huge save. Derviş Kemalettin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Pașcanu having to interfere. A collision led to Balıkesir FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Mehmet Ediz İklim hit a great ball. Anton Pașcanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Duman Başsoy's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute, Derviş Kemalettin made a precise shot to the right of Anton Pașcanu. Balıkesir FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 39 minutes into the match, fenerbahçe's goal looked a bit too open when Nebi Şahvar came free, but Rupert Clements reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 40 minutes fenerbahçe's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Atabey Uygan who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Atabey Uygan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rupert Clements quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Duman Başsoy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nebi Şahvar to make the kick off. fenerbahçe's Rupert Clements played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nebi Şahvar in the 55th minute of play. Alpay Ömer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Rupert Clements tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Alpay Ömer made a precise shot to the right of Rupert Clements. fenerbahçe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. fenerbahçe's Süreyya Genişyürek managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ferit Güngör in the 71 minute of the game. 74 minutes into the match, fenerbahçe's Derviş Kemalettin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anton Pașcanu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to fenerbahçe getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Duman Başsoy hit a great ball. Rupert Clements made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Nebi Şahvar sent off a good shot on target. Balıkesir FC's Alpay Ömer got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Süreyya Genişyürek hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. If Derviş Kemalettin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of fenerbahçe booed when Balıkesir FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osman Olcaytu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rupert Clements showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nebi Şahvar, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Duman Başsoy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anton Pașcanu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Anton Pașcanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Derviş Kemalettin, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Osman Olcaytu kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Nebi Şahvar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Rupert Clements when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
