The Erdemli JK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Petr Přikryl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olaf Czeberowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Petr Přikryl came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Erdemli JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Petr Přikryl couldn't finish the play. Cengiz Durualp was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 34 minutes, Petr Přikryl managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Erdemli JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Petr Přikryl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cengiz Durualp didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Petr Přikryl went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. If Olaf Czeberowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Bornova SK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Erdemli JK were winning 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hikmet Pekgöz to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Olaf Czeberowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
