In the 5th match minute, istanbulls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hızır Okatay to maneuver through the defense. istanbulls's Hamza Boz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remzi Zağanos in the 8th minute of play. Ertuğrul Yalkı's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 10thth minute, Aktan Özdilek skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 14th play minute Ertuğrul Yalkı came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Aktan Özdilek. 1-0. Aktan Özdilek made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Ertuğrul Yalkı sent off a good shot on target. Aktan Özdilek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ertuğrul Yalkı in the 20th minute. The istanbulls fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when istanbulls's Ertuğrul Yalkı looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Remzi Zağanos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Hamza Boz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 39th play minutes Ertuğrul Yalkı shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Aktan Özdilek and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 45th minute of the match, Ertuğrul Yalkı got a very nice opportunity to score, but Aktan Özdilek was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Remzi Zağanos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aktan Özdilek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ertuğrul Yalkı, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After 58 minutes, Selçuk İrgun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the istanbulls and the Tarabya JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Tarabya JK booed when istanbulls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Selçuk İrgun didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Tarabya JK defense, Ertuğrul Yalkı kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aktan Özdilek. Mürsel Keskinel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. But to his dismay, Ertuğrul Yalkı quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. In the 81st minute, Ertuğrul Yalkı made a precise shot to the right of Aktan Özdilek. Tarabya JK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. A collision led to Tarabya JK getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Alpay Ortaç hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ertuğrul Yalkı in the 89th minute of play forced Tarabya JK's goalkeeper Aktan Özdilek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Türker Devan hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. If Ertuğrul Yalkı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tarabya JK's goalkeeper Aktan Özdilek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tarabya JK's Aktan Özdilek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ertuğrul Yalkı in the 95th minute of play.
