With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alper Kanver in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Batıkan Öksüzoğlu saved Cay from getting behind. A collision led to Cay getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Yenal Özgenay hit a great ball. Saša Vulinović showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gökçen Taşboğa, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Alper Kanver had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Batıkan Öksüzoğlu. Cay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alper Kanver was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Batıkan Öksüzoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hızır Harmancı in the 18th minute of the match. Hızır Harmancı might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Batıkan Öksüzoğlu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hızır Harmancı ran back to his position shaking his head. Ferhan Toker could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Saša Vulinović made a huge save. Alper Kanver might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Batıkan Öksüzoğlu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alper Kanver ran back to his position shaking his head. 30 minutes into the game, Gündogmus's Tamer Başkara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Batıkan Öksüzoğlu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Hayri Eyüp made in the 36th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Gündogmus's Orkun Ünlü. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alper Kanver in the 37th minute of play forced Cay's goalkeeper Batıkan Öksüzoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Affan Fazilet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batıkan Öksüzoğlu having to interfere. Saša Vulinović made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Ferhan Toker sent off a good shot on target. Alper Kanver might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Batıkan Öksüzoğlu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alper Kanver ran back to his position shaking his head. Tamer Başkara charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tamer Başkara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Cay booed when Gündogmus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tamer Başkara didn't get a good kick on the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Gündogmus's goalkeeper Saša Vulinović had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ferhan Toker. Tamer Başkara hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Gökçen Taşboğa made the kick off in the second half. Hızır Harmancı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Affan Fazilet came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Gündogmus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Affan Fazilet couldn't finish the play. Gündogmus's Affan Fazilet got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gündogmus's Alper Kanver managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hayri Eyüp in the 69 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gökçen Taşboğa in the 71st minute of play forced Gündogmus's goalkeeper Saša Vulinović to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute Gökçen Taşboğa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saša Vulinović saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Gündogmus's Berkin Olgaç got a free kick in the 74th minute. Affan Fazilet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batıkan Öksüzoğlu having to interfere. Gündogmus's Saša Vulinović played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gökmen Guftar in the 84th minute of play. In the 94th minute, Alper Kanver hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 98th minute, Gökçen Taşboğa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Saša Vulinović was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3.
