In the 5th match minute, G A Z i A N T E P SPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sancarbey Taib to maneuver through the defense. Hızır Harmancı recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Güray Yurdaer came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Gündogmus's Alper Kanver. But to his dismay, Alper Kanver quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 11th minute of the match, Baran Alatay tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Saša Vulinović saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Tamer Başkara kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the game, Baran Alatay recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Saša Vulinović. Baran Alatay showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Ahmet Refik Pekalp charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ahmet Refik Pekalp the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ali Ömer Binışık took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Saša Vulinović. Saša Vulinović dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Alper Kanver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Güray Yurdaer having to interfere. When Sandro Teupel fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gündogmus's protests and gave Sandro Teupel a yellow card for diving instead. Sandro Teupel kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 36th minute of the match Seyfullah Alan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Saša Vulinović skillfully saved the ball. In the 36th match minute, G A Z i A N T E P SPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sancarbey Taib to maneuver through the defense. Alper Kanver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Güray Yurdaer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Güray Yurdaer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alper Kanver, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Baran Alatay to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baran Alatay in the 52nd minute of play forced Gündogmus's goalkeeper Saša Vulinović to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alper Kanver struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Güray Yurdaer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gündogmus. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baran Alatay in the 60th minute of play forced Gündogmus's goalkeeper Saša Vulinović to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Güray Yurdaer was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Alper Kanver capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alper Kanver really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. In the 64th minute, Affan Fazilet left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gündogmus fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Vehdi Bican kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute Baran Alatay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saša Vulinović saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saša Vulinović took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Ömer Binışık, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in G A Z i A N T E P SPOR's zone, Tamer Başkara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Güray Yurdaer came out of the goal and Tamer Başkara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, G A Z i A N T E P SPOR's Sancarbey Taib got a free kick in the 79th minute. Alper Kanver who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of Güray Yurdaer when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Tamer Başkara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Güray Yurdaer having to interfere. Alper Kanver blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Güray Yurdaer having to make a save.
