Naci Bilge made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 86th minute, Hasret Yazar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 89th minute, Cem Salcan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fenerbahce's Berke Işın got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hasret Yazar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Okanalp Kurceren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. The ReD DeeRs supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ReD DeeRs would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
