In the 12th minute Yıldıray Hacı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yaşar Adılhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ulvi Çağlar came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Kavaklidere fans jumped to their feet. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Karadeniz Akaltan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Yıldıray Hacı got free in front of the goal in the 93rd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Yaşar Adılhan was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Ulvi Çağlar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yaşar Adılhan having to interfere. When the match was over Kavaklidere could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Puma Spor F.C throughout the match.
