Banaz FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pozantı FK the free kick. A collision led to Banaz FK getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Bilgin İçten hit a great ball. Özal Açıkalın received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Sergen Perva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Efekan Ünsaç scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yavuzalp Duyar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Erdinç Balbay kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Latif Muhittin might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yavuzalp Duyar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Latif Muhittin ran back to his position shaking his head. Efekan Ünsaç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Yavuzalp Duyar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gazanfer Bürgehan struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Yavuzalp Duyar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Banaz FK. Yavuzalp Duyar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efekan Ünsaç in the 33rd minute of play. Yavuzalp Duyar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Burhan Yalman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emrullah Elçibey blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sergen Perva having to make a save. If Özal Açıkalın had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emrullah Elçibey stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Pozantı FK were awarded a corner. Anıl Erdem went to the cornerflag to take it. Erdinç Balbay made a great header on Pozantı FK's corner, it was just that Banaz FK's Sergen Perva managed to reach the ball for a save. Sergen Perva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emrullah Elçibey in the 55th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Derman Ezelhan during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Derman Ezelhan hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute, Efekan Ünsaç ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yavuzalp Duyar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Sergen Perva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emrullah Elçibey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sergen Perva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özal Açıkalın in the 79th minute of play. The supporters of Pozantı FK booed when Banaz FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bilgin İçten didn't get a good kick on the ball. Özal Açıkalın might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sergen Perva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Özal Açıkalın ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Pozantı FK's Mustafa Birol Uğuz got a free kick in the 84th minute. Banaz FK's Latif Muhittin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Yavuzalp Duyar in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Banaz FK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
