Tahsin Kebir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aşkın Geylan in the 8th minute of the match. Aşkın Geylan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tahsin Kebir having to interfere. Tahsin Kebir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aşkın Geylan, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Lütfullah Ozanalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genco Totuk having to interfere. After 39 played minutes ElazığSpor got a freekick which was hit by Ferman Batır. After recieving a nice pass, KEYVANSPOR's Talat Razi tried to score from far away in the 40th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A collision led to ElazığSpor getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Uluç Yıldıray hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lütfullah Ozanalp to make the kick off. Tahsin Kebir stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aşkın Geylan's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. 57 minutes into the match, Kahraman Okatan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tahsin Kebir. KEYVANSPOR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kahraman Okatan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Ahmet Özaltan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tahsin Kebir having to make a save. Ahmet Özaltan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Aşkın Geylan took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Tahsin Kebir to make any attempt to save it. 72 minutes into the match, ElazığSpor's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Erdem Tuğkan came free, but Genco Totuk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. KEYVANSPOR's Ahmet Erdem Tuğkan got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 81st minute, Ferman Batır hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ahmet Erdem Tuğkan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Genco Totuk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lütfullah Ozanalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute, Halit Fahri Tokyay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Genco Totuk was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. If Ahmet Erdem Tuğkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ElazığSpor's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
