The referee ignored Niğde Akrepgücü SK's protests and gave Seyrani Bengialp a yellow card for diving instead. Seyrani Bengialp hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Kutlay Denizalp blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without İskender Baki Usare having to make a save. İskender Baki Usare showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kutlay Denizalp in the 22nd minute of the match.
