Rıfkı Mustafa hit a great ball. İskender Baki Usare took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şentürk Nursal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cemal Esir came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by KÖM UNITED's Yıldırım Ruçhan. But to his dismay, Yıldırım Ruçhan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 32 minutes into the match, Ergani's goalkeeper Cemal Esir had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yıldırım Ruçhan. After some careless play in the Ergani defense, Yıldırım Ruçhan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cemal Esir. The Ergani fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cemal Esir should have stopped the shot. 38 minutes into the match, KÖM UNITED's goal looked a bit too open when Fahrettin Üzer came free, but İskender Baki Usare reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Şentürk Nursal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Şentürk Nursal to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in KÖM UNITED's zone, Şentürk Nursal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. İskender Baki Usare came out of the goal and Şentürk Nursal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Şentürk Nursal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Şerif Işınbay in the 62nd minute of play forced Ergani's goalkeeper Cemal Esir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dündar Kaplans short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got İskender Baki Usare to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Şentürk Nursal in the 67th minute of play forced KÖM UNITED's goalkeeper İskender Baki Usare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dündar Kaplan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İskender Baki Usare having to interfere. The referee ignored Ergani's protests and gave Fahrettin Üzer a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th minute, Fahrettin Üzer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. KÖM UNITED were victorious despite being under pressure from Ergani for much of the match.
