Spectators: 7207 (Terracing: 5407, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Azim Ereken started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Güroymak FK's goalkeeper Adnan Haşmetli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nebi Kayaalp. In the 6th minute, Alphan Besim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nebi Kayaalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Adnan Haşmetli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fikirtepe JK's goalkeeper Sadri İlhanoğlu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Özden Taşel charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Özden Taşel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Fikirtepe JK getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Özden Taşel hit a great ball. In the 25th minute there was a penalty for Güroymak FK. Erdal Satıkbuğra stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sadri İlhanoğlu. 0-1. Güroymak FK's Adnan Haşmetli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Güroymak FK from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Güroymak FK's zone, Nebi Kayaalp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adnan Haşmetli came out of the goal and Nebi Kayaalp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sadri İlhanoğlu came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Güroymak FK's Çağrı Asır. But to his dismay, Çağrı Asır quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 39 minutes into the match, Fikirtepe JK's goal looked a bit too open when Çağrı Asır came free, but Sadri İlhanoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Özden Taşel hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. If Çağrı Asır had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, Batı Tunçkurt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Fikirtepe JK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Güroymak FK were winning 0-2.

Teoman Tuğsavan kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. A collision led to Fikirtepe JK getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Şimşek Aral hit a great ball. 63 minutes into the match, Fikirtepe JK's goal looked a bit too open when Yıldırım İlbey came free, but Sadri İlhanoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nebi Kayaalp in the 75th minute of play forced Güroymak FK's goalkeeper Adnan Haşmetli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nebi Kayaalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adnan Haşmetli having to interfere. Yıldırım İlbey was extremely unlucky when he, in the 88th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 93 minutes, Lütfi Özol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Güroymak FK and the Fikirtepe JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 94 played minutes Güroymak FK got a freekick which was hit by Lütfi Özol. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Nebi Kayaalp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fikirtepe JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Nebi Kayaalp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adnan Haşmetli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
