Rafettin Selil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beşir Hatim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafettin Selil came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Şahlar gücü Sk's Arif Cengiz Onul. But to his dismay, Arif Cengiz Onul quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Simav's Rafettin Selil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Simav from getting a goal against them. In the 39th minute, Sergen Özen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Şahlar gücü Sk fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. With his leg Rafettin Selil managed to avoid a goal in the 42ndth minute, when Şahlar gücü Sk's Ozan Tacal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some careless play in the Şahlar gücü Sk defense, Dinç Uzsan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mehmet Hakkı Boranalp. The Şahlar gücü Sk fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mehmet Hakkı Boranalp should have stopped the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ozan Tacal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Simav's Rafettin Selil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ozan Tacal in the 52nd minute of play. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Simav's goalkeeper Rafettin Selil, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mehmet Hakkı Boranalp made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erman Ünveren in the 61st minute. After a rather tough play, Simav's Sezer Arısoy got a free kick in the 66th minute. Ozan Tacal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute of the match, Erman Ünveren got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mehmet Hakkı Boranalp was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Rafettin Selil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ozan Tacal's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Ozan Tacal might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rafettin Selil. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ozan Tacal ran back to his position shaking his head. 81 minutes into the game, Orhan Veli Salur cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Mehmet Hakkı Boranalp was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 84 minutes into the game, Orhan Veli Salur recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mehmet Hakkı Boranalp. Orhan Veli Salur showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. Arif Cengiz Onul took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rafettin Selil. Rafettin Selil dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. Ozan Tacal struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Rafettin Selil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Şahlar gücü Sk. The crowd rose to their feet as Simav's Dinç Uzsan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mehmet Hakkı Boranalp. That made the score 3-5 after 96 minutes of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Simav had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
