Spectators: 6531 (Terracing: 5389, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 142) Abdulmelik Özyurt started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Abdulmelik Özyurt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fikret Akbal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdi Keykubad having to interfere. Abdi Keykubad stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fikret Akbal's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fikret Akbal in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abdi Keykubad saved Kavaklidere from getting behind. If Fikret Akbal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abdi Keykubad stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fikret Akbal's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. The supporters of Kavaklidere booed when Ulus FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Seçkin Çelikyay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tayfun Akmeşe was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 23rd minute. Kavaklidere's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 24th match minute, Ulus FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Seçkin Çelikyay to maneuver through the defense. After 25 minutes of play, Kavaklidere's Battal Seyyit Talaş made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baturhan Gerdaneri was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 30th minute, Fikret Akbal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abdi Keykubad was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Fikret Akbal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdi Keykubad having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Fikret Akbal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ulus FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Abdi Keykubad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdulmelik Özyurt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Fikret Akbal came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Ulus FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fikret Akbal couldn't finish the play. Abdulmelik Özyurt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdi Keykubad having to interfere. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tayfun Akmeşe to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Fikret Akbal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abdi Keykubad. Kavaklidere's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fikret Akbal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Abdi Keykubad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdulmelik Özyurt, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Kavaklidere's Abdi Keykubad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Kavaklidere from getting a goal against them. After having played for 84 minutes, Abdulmelik Özyurt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ulus FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdulmelik Özyurt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fikret Akbal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Abdi Keykubad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abdulmelik Özyurt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st match minute, Ulus FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şahin Balabey to maneuver through the defense. Vedat Doğanlar, 92 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. A collision led to Ulus FK getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Şahin Balabey hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Battal Seyyit Talaş in the 94th minute of play forced Ulus FK's goalkeeper Baturhan Gerdaneri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulus FK played a much better game than Kavaklidere and deserved their victory. The Kavaklidere players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
