Bozkurt Onuker could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Vahap Kaptan made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Veli Ucatekin in the 6th minute of play forced karsspor's goalkeeper Vahap Kaptan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vahap Kaptan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Veli Ucatekin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. karsspor's Vahap Kaptan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Işık Utman in the 13th minute of play. Çağan Raid recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Şevket Saraçoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ardahan User, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute, Bozkurt Onuker made a precise shot to the right of Vahap Kaptan. karsspor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Veli Ucatekin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vahap Kaptan having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Dinçer Özbala managed to get in a good position for a shot. FİLOFOZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Dinçer Özbala was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vahap Kaptan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Veli Ucatekin to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Aytekin Akarsu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vahap Kaptan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute, Bozkurt Onuker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
