In the 15th minute, Rüştü Sabahaddin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ahmet Refik İncili had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ahmet Göktuğ Aysan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Refik İncili, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. BeşiktAŞK's Rüştü Sabahaddin got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anıl Baran Satı charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anıl Baran Satı the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 21 played minutes AY-YILDIZ got a freekick which was hit by Anıl Baran Satı. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Refik İncili in the 22nd minute of play forced AY-YILDIZ's goalkeeper Ahmet Göktuğ Aysan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 22 minutes, Arif Ozan Altınpınar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AY-YILDIZ and the BeşiktAŞK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The AY-YILDIZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ahmet Göktuğ Aysan should have stopped the shot. Arif Ozan Altınpınar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Abdurrahim Ağca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by BeşiktAŞK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hacı Sertuğ was slow to take the kick. During this time AY-YILDIZ's players had a chance to rest. The corner led AY-YILDIZ's Hacı Sertuğ to fire away a dangerous shot which Abdurrahim Ağca despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as BeşiktAŞK's Ahmet Refik İncili slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ahmet Göktuğ Aysan. That made the score 3-1 after 49 minutes of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ahmet Refik İncili to make the kick off. If Rüştü Sabahaddin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, BeşiktAŞK's Abdurrahim Ağca got control of the ball when Güray Yağızkurt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ahmet Refik İncili received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Yaser Eryildiz helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to BeşiktAŞK getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Yaser Eryildiz hit a great ball. Güray Yağızkurt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdurrahim Ağca having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Nizam Attar managed to get in a good position for a shot. AY-YILDIZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Nizam Attar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdurrahim Ağca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 90 minutes, Güray Yağızkurt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AY-YILDIZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Güray Yağızkurt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th minute of the match, Güray Yağızkurt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Abdurrahim Ağca was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 96th minute, Yaser Eryildiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. BeşiktAŞK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of AY-YILDIZ for a fine match.
