When İsrafil Özbilgin fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sungurlu's protests and gave İsrafil Özbilgin a yellow card for diving instead. Ferid Zümer's late challenge caught a Sungurlu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ferid Zümer helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Sungurlu booed when Yalovaspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferid Zümer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling İlhan Atasoy in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Recep Talha İncili prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 11th minute, Nazil Bozer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. İsrafil Özbilgin hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Sungurlu's Recep Talha İncili played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sancarbey Özmert in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sezen Saykut in the 20th minute of play forced Yalovaspor's goalkeeper Erhun Sungur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zeynel Seciye hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the game, Yalovaspor's İlhan Atasoy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Recep Talha İncili made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Sungurlu's Recep Talha İncili proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Sungurlu from getting a goal against them. 35 minutes into the match, Sungurlu's goalkeeper Recep Talha İncili had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by İlhan Atasoy. İlhan Atasoy's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Recep Talha İncili skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Recep Talha İncili made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when İlhan Atasoy sent off a good shot on target. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Sungurlu's Recep Talha İncili played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferid Zümer in the 51st minute of play. Recep Talha İncili came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Yalovaspor's İlhan Atasoy. But to his dismay, İlhan Atasoy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 60 minutes into the match, Sungurlu's goal looked a bit too open when Mesut Sağman came free, but Recep Talha İncili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute, İlhan Atasoy made a precise shot to the right of Recep Talha İncili. Sungurlu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferid Zümer in the 75th minute of play forced Sungurlu's goalkeeper Recep Talha İncili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. İlhan Atasoy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mesut Sağman in the 79th minute of play forced Sungurlu's goalkeeper Recep Talha İncili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Yalovaspor booed when Sungurlu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. İsrafil Özbilgin didn't get a good kick on the ball. İlhan Atasoy succeeded in the game's 84th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-0. Recep Talha İncili showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İlhan Atasoy in the 87th minute of the match. After 88 played minutes Sungurlu got a freekick which was hit by Rüstem Enginalp. After having played for 91 minutes, Sezen Saykut managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sungurlu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sezen Saykut was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Recep Talha İncili took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İlhan Atasoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 97th minute of the match Kamber Naim shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Recep Talha İncili showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Yalovaspor's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
