Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Gültepe SK's Selçuk Ongay started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Giray Ergenç took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Bektaş Ali Dalokay to make any attempt to save it. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Giray Ergenç took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Bektaş Ali Dalokay to make any attempt to save it. If Selçuk Ongay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Giray Ergenç recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bektaş Ali Dalokay stood somewhat misplaced when Giray Ergenç came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 27 minute. After 32nd play minutes Cevdet Okatay shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Hüsamettin Esay and just under the crossbar into goal. 36 minutes into the match, Giray Ergenç notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Gültepe SK's Bektaş Ali Dalokay. Bektaş Ali Dalokay was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Giray Ergenç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Midyat getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Cemal İnanoğlu hit a great ball.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Giray Ergenç stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Giray Ergenç managed to get in a good position for a shot. Midyat's supporters rose to their feet, but Giray Ergenç was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bektaş Ali Dalokay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Midyat getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Sait Tanırer hit a great ball. 66 minutes into the match, Cemal İnanoğlu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bektaş Ali Dalokay. Gültepe SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cemal İnanoğlu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. Selçuk Ongay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hüsamettin Esay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Selçuk Ongay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 82 minutes, Hüsamettin Esay successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 85thth minute of the game Giray Ergenç who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gültepe SK's Bektaş Ali Dalokay was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bektaş Ali Dalokay came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Midyat's Cemal İnanoğlu. But to his dismay, Cemal İnanoğlu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. If Cemal İnanoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Midyat booed when Gültepe SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rüknettin Ocakçı didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 97th minute of the match Baturhan Sağbilge sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bektaş Ali Dalokay skillfully saved the ball. Midyat were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Gültepe SK for a fine match.
