The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kutlay Sefaaddin was the one to do the kick off. Kartal Coşkunsu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Bican Uğurtay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bican Uğurtay showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bican Uğurtay came out of the goal and Atilla Titiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 87 minutes into the match, Ahmet İlke Özguner had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Reşit Teren. galatasaray's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ahmet İlke Özguner was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5. Bican Uğurtay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Atilla Titiz's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Keciborlu's Sufi Muren got his second yellow card of the match in the 96th minute. The referee ordered Sufi Muren off the ground. The supporters of galatasaray booed when Keciborlu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sufi Muren didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Keciborlu eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
