After a defensive mix-up in Göztepe S.K's zone, Cevat Kızılateş stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. İldeniz Tecik came out of the goal and Cevat Kızılateş tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cevat Kızılateş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 91 minutes into the game, Palu's Cevat Kızılateş nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. İldeniz Tecik made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cevat Kızılateş got free with İldeniz Tecik in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match was over Palu could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Göztepe S.K throughout the match.
