Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The audience was convinced that Tolgahan İzzet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baki Kapkin was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Tolgahan İzzet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baki Kapkin having to interfere. Baki Kapkin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tolgahan İzzet, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 16th match minute, Palu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdurrahman Teren to maneuver through the defense. If Aytunç Öz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 21 minutes, Aytunç Öz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Niğde SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aytunç Öz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 22nd match minute, Palu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Demirhan Bender to maneuver through the defense. Yaşar Nuri Uluşahin hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Niğde SK's zone, Tolgahan İzzet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baki Kapkin came out of the goal and Tolgahan İzzet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tolgahan İzzet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Baki Kapkin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Serkan İnan made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Ecevit Reis sent off a good shot on target. Cevat Kızılateş took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baki Kapkin. Baki Kapkin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A collision led to Niğde SK getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Yaşar Nuri Uluşahin hit a great ball. Sefa Tekcan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Baki Kapkin. Niğde SK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aytunç Öz was the one to do the kick off. Cevat Kızılateş recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Palu's Tolgahan İzzet slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Baki Kapkin. That made the score 0-2 after 63 minutes of play. If Ecevit Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th match minute, Palu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdurrahman Teren to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Palu's zone, Ecevit Reis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serkan İnan came out of the goal and Ecevit Reis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rd play minute Cevat Kızılateş came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Baki Kapkin. 0-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Palu's Tolgahan İzzet slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Baki Kapkin. That made the score 0-4 after 78 minutes of play. In the 81stth minute of the game Aytunç Öz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palu's Serkan İnan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpected shot in the 87th minute by Cevat Kızılateş got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Demirhan Bender fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palu's protests and gave Demirhan Bender a yellow card for diving instead. After 94 played minutes Palu got a freekick which was hit by Demirhan Bender. The Palu supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Palu would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
