Derviş Ahad made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Baybars Paşa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Derviş Ahad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gürol Talha in the 14th minute of play. Derviş Ahad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ergün Ergüleç in the 15th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Gürol Talha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Derviş Ahad was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. After 17 minutes of play, SC Nankatsu's Gürol Talha made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 31st minute, Baybars Paşa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Enginalp Avcıoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baybars Paşa in the 34th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, Merinos's goal looked a bit too open when Dinç Saruhan came free, but Derviş Ahad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ergün Ergüleç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Derviş Ahad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gürol Talha in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Derviş Ahad saved Merinos from getting behind. Ergün Ergüleç struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Derviş Ahad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Nankatsu. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gürol Talha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Mustafa Arif Kıralp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enginalp Avcıoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gürol Talha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ergün Ergüleç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 59 minutes, Gürol Talha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Nankatsu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gürol Talha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Derviş Ahad stood somewhat misplaced when Gürol Talha came free in front of goal and shot 0-4 to the left of him in the 62 minute. Dinç Saruhan placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After a defensive mix-up in Merinos's zone, Gürol Talha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Derviş Ahad came out of the goal and Gürol Talha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 71st minute, Ergün Ergüleç got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Dinç Saruhan came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the SC Nankatsu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dinç Saruhan couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Merinos defense, Gürol Talha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Derviş Ahad. The Merinos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Derviş Ahad should have stopped the shot. Mustafa Arif Kıralp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Enginalp Avcıoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gürol Talha in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Derviş Ahad prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Enginalp Avcıoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baybars Paşa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Derviş Ahad didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when SC Nankatsu's Gürol Talha shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-6 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 93rd match minute, SC Nankatsu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İlyas Tolga Can to maneuver through the defense. 99 minutes into the game, Ergün Ergüleç recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Derviş Ahad. Ergün Ergüleç showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. The Merinos fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. SC Nankatsu were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
