Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sümer Erel started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Lonya City FC booed when Viransehir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lütfullah Zülfü didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Viransehir's Lütfullah Zülfü got a free kick in the 8th minute. Ergün Ulus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Seyrani Yücesan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ergün Ulus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Seyrani Yücesan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Ali Nejat Orcun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ergün Ulus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ali Nejat Orcun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Ali Nejat Orcun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ergün Ulus in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Viransehir's goal looked a bit too open when Sümer Erel came free, but Birsel Talay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ali Nejat Orcun was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Seyrani Yücesan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 43 minute of play. After having played for 48 minutes, Sümer Erel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lonya City FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sümer Erel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ergün Ulus to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ergün Ulus in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ali Nejat Orcun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Sümer Erel took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Birsel Talay to make any attempt to save it. Sümer Erel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birsel Talay having to interfere. After 64 minutes, Kurtuluş Karadeniz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Viransehir and the Lonya City FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 68 minutes of play, Lonya City FC's Nedim Yalınalp made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Birsel Talay was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ergün Ulus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Nejat Orcun having to interfere. 81 minutes into the game, Samim Çidam was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lonya City FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Viransehir the free kick. Sebati Özonder walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. If Ergün Ulus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Seyrani Yücesan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Nejat Orcun having to interfere. Seyrani Yücesan might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ali Nejat Orcun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Seyrani Yücesan ran back to his position shaking his head. Ali Nejat Orcun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lütfullah Zülfü, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. The Lonya City FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lonya City FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
