Spectators: 7226 (Terracing: 5421, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 143) Hafız İçten started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Cüneyd Canay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Baransel Ekincioğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Kocasinan's Ardahan Mukbil got a free kick in the 7th minute. After having played for 10 minutes, Cüneyd Canay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kocasinan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cüneyd Canay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Baransel Ekincioğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vecdet Nevruz in the 13th minute of play. Baransel Ekincioğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cüneyd Canay in the 14th minute of the match. Hafız İçten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cüneyd Canay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cüneyd Canay blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Baransel Ekincioğlu having to make a save. Hafız İçten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute, Armağan Peyami hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dargecit's Hafız İçten got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Baransel Ekincioğlu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cüneyd Canay's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Kocasinan were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Dargecit's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Armağan Peyami took the corner. Mehmet Akif Kaşif thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Baransel Ekincioğlu, a very annoying self made goal in the 40th minute which led to 0-1. Baransel Ekincioğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cüneyd Canay in the 44th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cüneyd Canay to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Varol Türkmen got free with Baransel Ekincioğlu in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 81st minute, Yaman Regaip hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vecdet Nevruz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Baransel Ekincioğlu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Vecdet Nevruz came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Kocasinan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vecdet Nevruz couldn't finish the play. If Vecdet Nevruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vecdet Nevruz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dargecit's Bayındır Mehmet Tanören got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Kocasinan players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
