An unexpectedly hard shot by Işıkalp Oskay in the 3rd minute of play forced Iskitler's goalkeeper Cihangir Çırakoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iskitler's Cihangir Çırakoğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Iskitler from getting a goal against them. In the 24th minute, Mustafa İzzet Arabacı got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 28 minutes, Işıkalp Oskay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galatasaray's supporters crossed their fingers, but Işıkalp Oskay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for İzzettin Ruzi to strike the kick off in the second half. Cihangir Çırakoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Asım Arif Yıldız in the 51st minute of play. 54 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Galatasaray's Işıkalp Oskay fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. 64 minutes into the match, Iskitler's goal looked a bit too open when Işıkalp Oskay came free, but Cihangir Çırakoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Iskitler's zone, Asım Arif Yıldız stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cihangir Çırakoğlu came out of the goal and Asım Arif Yıldız tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mustafa İzzet Arabacı who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Necmi Karataş when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Necmi Karataş made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Mustafa İzzet Arabacı sent off a good shot on target. Suavi Heybetli kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Iskitler's Mustafa Hakan Tugay couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Galatasaray. Necmi Karataş made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mustafa İzzet Arabacı in the 96th minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
