Kubat Karaalp came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Tophane's Hüseyin Cahit Evliya. But to his dismay, Hüseyin Cahit Evliya quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Saadettin Filiz during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Anadolu Bağcılar FK's Saadettin Filiz got a free kick in the 24th minute. Mehdi Rafettin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Kubat Karaalp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Tophane's goal looked a bit too open when Oğuzalp Yabgu came free, but Kılıçhan Tanaydin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ardahan Şevki kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Anadolu Bağcılar FK's Savaşer Eryiğit broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 35th minute of the match Savaşer Eryiğit sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kılıçhan Tanaydin skillfully saved the ball. If Afşar Yesar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 55thth minute of the game Oğuzalp Yabgu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tophane's Kılıçhan Tanaydin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Anadolu Bağcılar FK's Kubat Karaalp proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Anadolu Bağcılar FK from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Anadolu Bağcılar FK booed when Tophane was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dilaver Şakir didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anadolu Bağcılar FK's Oğuzalp Yabgu got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 69th minute, Nafiz Sayhan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kılıçhan Tanaydin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oğuzalp Yabgu, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Mehmet Halis Özay kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Ardahan Şevki was shown his second yellow card after 85 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 86th match minute, Tophane was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ardahan Şevki to maneuver through the defense. Galip Kadri might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kubat Karaalp. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Galip Kadri ran back to his position shaking his head. After 92 minutes, Savaşer Eryiğit mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Anadolu Bağcılar FK and the Tophane players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 92 played minutes Anadolu Bağcılar FK got a freekick which was hit by Savaşer Eryiğit. Ahmet Nedim Ruçhan kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Mehdi Rafettin struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Kubat Karaalp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tophane. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Anadolu Bağcılar FK lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
