In the 13th minute Atabek Kirtekin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anıl Mücahit Kotuz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Burak Devlet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beşiktaş's Burak Devlet got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Beşiktaş's Rahman Rafet got a free kick in the 31st minute. When Necaettin Karakaya fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Beşiktaş's protests and gave Necaettin Karakaya a yellow card for diving instead. After 36 played minutes Beşiktaş got a freekick which was hit by Necaettin Karakaya. Alaca's Berkin Eripek couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 37th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Beşiktaş. Ateş Taybars hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Tanju Siraceddin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmet Ziya Hızır in the 42nd minute. When Atabek Kirtekin came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Alaca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Atabek Kirtekin couldn't finish the play. Okaner Yay kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Alaca walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
