The audience was convinced that Berker Rıza Kadir's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alparslan Ulaç was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. 12 minutes into the game, Mehmet Ediz Sartık was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kelkit's Çağlar Toprak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Arif Akşin in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berker Rıza Kadir in the 32nd minute of play forced HAMZA DENIZ's goalkeeper Alparslan Ulaç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Sedat Halıcı had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alparslan Ulaç. HAMZA DENIZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sedat Halıcı was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. If Sedat Halıcı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Berker Rıza Kadir in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alparslan Ulaç, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ahmet Kurhan charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After a rather tough play, Kelkit's Zikri Bektaş got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 72nd match minute, Kelkit was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sedat Halıcı to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, HAMZA DENIZ's Alparslan Ulaç got control of the ball when Berker Rıza Kadir tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alparslan Ulaç was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Berker Rıza Kadir showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 94 minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Kelkit left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than HAMZA DENIZ.
