With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hurşit Kamuran in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yılmaz Belen saved KızılKalkan from getting behind. Göktas's Hurşit Kamuran got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Ersin Vefalı made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match, Hurşit Kamuran got a very nice opportunity to score, but Yılmaz Belen was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 55th minute, Ahmet Hakan Tanbolat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hurşit Kamuran could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Yılmaz Belen made a huge save. Ersin Vefalıs short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Yılmaz Belen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 1-3 became the score in the 87th minute when Ahmet Hakan Tanbolat elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Ersin Vefalı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Yılmaz Belen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ersin Vefalı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
