Kayhan Tuğrul blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without İbrahim Efe Akyazıcı having to make a save. In the 15th minute, Hurşit Kamuran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Soner Arslanoğlu did an outstanding performance 62 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 0-2 to the right of an irritated İbrahim Efe Akyazıcı in the goal. Dursun Ali Keskiner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İbrahim Efe Akyazıcı having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Kayhan Tuğrul's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but İbrahim Efe Akyazıcı was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. When Ersin Vefalı fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Göktas's protests and gave Ersin Vefalı a yellow card for diving instead. After 96 played minutes Göktas got a freekick which was hit by Ersin Vefalı. Ivrindi SK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
