With a couple of smart ball manuevers Şerafettin Başöz in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Öztürk Tokcan saved Ivrindi SK from getting behind. Bora Han Karataş's late challenge caught a Ivrindi SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bora Han Karataş helped the player get up and apologised. Kayhan Tuğrul received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Muharrem İcabi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Bektaş Yaşam left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ivrindi SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 32 minutes of play Tarsus SK's Bora Han Karataş was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 33rd match minute, Tarsus SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bora Han Karataş to maneuver through the defense. The wind increased when Kayhan Tuğrul made the kick off in the second half. After taking down the ball on Tarsus SK's corner Zülfikar Ilgaz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Öztürk Tokcan quite easily take care of the ball. Bektaş Yaşam recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tarsus SK's Muharrem İcabi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bektaş Yaşam in the 85th minute of play. Muharrem İcabi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kayhan Tuğrul, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Bektaş Yaşam blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Muharrem İcabi having to make a save. Kayhan Tuğrul scored 2-1 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Muharrem İcabi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ivrindi SK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
