The referee ignored Ünyespor1957's protests and gave Arkın Uğur a yellow card for diving instead. 6 minutes into the match, Ünyespor1957's goal looked a bit too open when Yakup Kadri Taygar came free, but Anıl Baran Uraz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anıl Baran Uraz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Hakan Tanbolat in the 10th minute of play. A collision led to KızılKalkan getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Ahmet Hakan Tanbolat hit a great ball. In the 16th minute, Uluç Tacir made a precise shot to the right of Yılmaz Belen. KızılKalkan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. If Arkın Uğur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yakup Kadri Taygar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Yakup Kadri Taygar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Ünyespor1957 getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Gürhan Acarbey hit a great ball. After 36 played minutes KızılKalkan got a freekick which was hit by Fikri Rezzak. 40 minutes into the game, Ahmet Oğuz Erşahin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ünyespor1957's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KızılKalkan the free kick. A collision led to Ünyespor1957 getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Ahmet Oğuz Erşahin hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute, KızılKalkan's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Karadeniz Dilercan fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Ünyespor1957's zone, Yakup Kadri Taygar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anıl Baran Uraz came out of the goal and Yakup Kadri Taygar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Uluç Tacir stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Uluç Tacir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Yılmaz Belen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karadeniz Dilercan kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 66th match minute, Ünyespor1957 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karadeniz Dilercan to maneuver through the defense. Yılmaz Belen came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Ünyespor1957's Karadeniz Dilercan. But to his dismay, Karadeniz Dilercan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Anıl Baran Uraz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Hakan Tanbolat in the 73rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Uluç Tacir's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yılmaz Belen was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. KızılKalkan's Ahmet Hakan Tanbolat suffered a sore thigh after 77 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 77 minutes, Gürhan Acarbey mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ünyespor1957 and the KızılKalkan players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 90 minutes, Yakup Kadri Taygar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KızılKalkan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yakup Kadri Taygar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yakup Kadri Taygar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anıl Baran Uraz having to interfere.
