Yılmaz Belen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berkan Mutluay, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. 6 minutes into the match, KızılKalkan's goal looked a bit too open when Berkan Mutluay came free, but Yılmaz Belen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 9 minutes, Binali Vala managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mkj's supporters crossed their fingers, but Binali Vala was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Binali Vala was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 11th minute. Mkj's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Berkan Mutluay in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yılmaz Belen saved KızılKalkan from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Nusrettin Ekin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yılmaz Belen was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. After 14 played minutes KızılKalkan got a freekick which was hit by Şemsettin Kudretullah. In the 15th match minute, KızılKalkan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şemsettin Kudretullah to maneuver through the defense. If Yakup Kadri Taygar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 37 played minutes KızılKalkan got a freekick which was hit by Şimşek Alatay. In the 38th minute, Binali Vala got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Berkan Mutluay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Berkan Mutluay was the one to do the kick off. Yılmaz Belen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Berkan Mutluay went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. If Binali Vala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Yılmaz Belen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nusrettin Ekin in the 56th minute of the match. After some careless play in the KızılKalkan defense, Nusrettin Ekin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yılmaz Belen. The KızılKalkan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yılmaz Belen should have stopped the shot. Nusrettin Ekin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 71 minutes into the match, Berkan Mutluay had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yılmaz Belen. KızılKalkan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Berkan Mutluay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Mkj's Berkan Mutluay got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mkj walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
