An unexpectedly hard shot by Baki Resul in the 17th minute of play forced F.C. Tuncer's goalkeeper Hasan Hüseyin Filiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baki Resul recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Batı Tamkut fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F.C. Tuncer's protests and gave Batı Tamkut a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to F.C. Tuncer getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Batı Tamkut hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Banaz's Ertan Balaman tried to score from far away in the 25th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Hasan Hüseyin Filiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Necip Güneş in the 47th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ali Behzat Hasankeyf to make the kick off. Necip Güneş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hasan Hüseyin Filiz having to interfere. Aşık Himmet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Behzat Hasankeyf in the 63rd minute of play. In the 70th minute of the match Batı Tamkut sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aşık Himmet skillfully saved the ball. Erkin Kumanbay kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Banaz's Baki Resul ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hasan Hüseyin Filiz. Hasan Hüseyin Filiz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Baki Resul received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Hasan Hüseyin Filiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 81 minutes, Baki Resul managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Banaz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baki Resul was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Necip Güneş could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Hasan Hüseyin Filiz made a huge save. Sertel Onurad struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Aşık Himmet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C. Tuncer. The referee felt a red card was in order, 88 minutes into the game, when Baykal İçkin put in a rough tackle. Derman Hanecioğlu hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. After 97 played minutes, F.C. Tuncer's Batı Tamkut shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aşık Himmet came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in F.C. Tuncer reached it. F.C. Tuncer's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
