But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that İsrafil Çelebi couldn't finish the play. Demiralp Tanfer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Muhittin Akburçak in the 13th minute of the match. İsrafil Çelebi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Muhittin Akburçak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Altunizade's İsrafil Çelebi got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Demiralp Tanfer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İsrafil Çelebi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Demiralp Tanfer was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Dörtyol players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Altunizade were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ataman Oğuztüzün was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Ekrem Tanbay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Hakkı Deniz Erdemalp's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kerimhan Sav was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Demiralp Tanfer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İsrafil Çelebi in the 75th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Altunizade's Berkem Dural tried to score from far away in the 82nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Dörtyol's zone, İsrafil Çelebi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Demiralp Tanfer came out of the goal and İsrafil Çelebi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91st minute, Berkem Dural sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Dörtyol's Demiralp Tanfer didn't even have to move. A hard shot by Boğaç Ulukan from long distance, 95 minutes into the match, got Demiralp Tanfer's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When Atalan Yamaner fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dörtyol's protests and gave Atalan Yamaner a yellow card for diving instead. The corner led Altunizade's Berkem Dural to fire away a dangerous shot which Demiralp Tanfer despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Altunizade had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
