Ahmet Korcan Dede showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gündüz Taşcan, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Başaran Deren managed to get in a good position for a shot. SERAKENT's supporters rose to their feet, but Başaran Deren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mümtazer Pamir breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gündüz Taşcan in the 29th minute of play forced SERAKENT's goalkeeper Ahmet Korcan Dede to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ahmet Korcan Dede made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fetih Uyar in the 30th minute of play. Başaran Deren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Mümtazer Pamir made a huge save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In a very dangerous position, a player in SERAKENT fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! Cemil Esir shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Hıdır Akyüz charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hıdır Akyüz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to SERAKENT getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Hıdır Akyüz hit a great ball. Bartin's Cemil Esir got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of SERAKENT booed when Bartin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Halil İbrahim Özaltay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Başaran Deren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vural Karabugra hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. The long shot by Cemil Esir in the 85th minute really tested Ahmet Korcan Dede's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Gündüz Taşcan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the match, Bartin's goal looked a bit too open when Abdulbaki Karaoğlan came free, but Mümtazer Pamir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Bartin's Gündüz Taşcan got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Başaran Deren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mümtazer Pamir having to interfere. After 95 played minutes Bartin got a freekick which was hit by Arif Cengiz Baykara. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SERAKENT fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bartin had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
