After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yahya Kemal Afgan to make the kick off. Enginalp Öktemer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Selami İmralı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th match minute, Kestel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kutalp Atay to maneuver through the defense. After 60 played minutes Bodrum Kalesi got a freekick which was hit by Tibet Sadullah. Atabek Coşkuner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Selami İmralı having to interfere. When Yahya Kemal Afgan came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Bodrum Kalesi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yahya Kemal Afgan couldn't finish the play. Yahya Kemal Afgan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Behçet Olgaç having to make a save.
