After a rather tough play, KİNG ÇAĞDAŞ SPOR's Baysal Semim got a free kick in the 16th minute. Baycan Onaran who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Battal Cüneyt Başok when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 23rd minute of the match, Baycan Onaran got a very nice opportunity to score, but Battal Cüneyt Başok was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 24 minutes in the game, Bedri Veli fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Battal Cüneyt Başok having to interfere. Battal Cüneyt Başok showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bedri Veli in the 24th minute of the match. If Bedri Veli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bedri Veli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Battal Cüneyt Başok read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. The supporters of KİNG ÇAĞDAŞ SPOR booed when Büyükspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fikri Kurumer didn't get a good kick on the ball. KİNG ÇAĞDAŞ SPOR's Tevfik Alkın couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 31st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Büyükspor. Yağız Cansun took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Yakup Kadri Orus. KİNG ÇAĞDAŞ SPOR's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to KİNG ÇAĞDAŞ SPOR getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Baysal Semim hit a great ball. Talha Seyidhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Yakup Kadri Orus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Doğuş Bekiroğlu to strike the kick off in the second half. Yakup Kadri Orus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doğuş Bekiroğlu in the 54th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Talha Seyidhan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Büyükspor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Doğuş Bekiroğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Talha Seyidhan could shoot a difficult shot in the 68th minute, which Yakup Kadri Orus however easily saved by the left post. Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Yakup Kadri Orus successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 81st minute, Baysal Semim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yakup Kadri Orus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doğuş Bekiroğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Talha Seyidhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th match minute, Büyükspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kılıçalp Ulusoy to maneuver through the defense. Baycan Onaran struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Battal Cüneyt Başok didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KİNG ÇAĞDAŞ SPOR. Baycan Onaran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Battal Cüneyt Başok having to interfere. The Büyükspor supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Büyükspor would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
