Uğur Nedret's late challenge caught a Besni SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Uğur Nedret helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, MeRGeN G.d.'s Uğur Nedret got a free kick in the 4th minute. If Atacan Şahit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Güneş Samim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Mahsun Nizam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enes Naşit in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ahmet Necdet Özyurt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 20 minutes of play, MeRGeN G.d.'s İlmi Kırca made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mahsun Nizam was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 23rd minute, Atacan Şahit got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 29th minute Enes Naşit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Necdet Özyurt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cevdet Gezer charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cevdet Gezer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of MeRGeN G.d. booed when Besni SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cevdet Gezer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute of the match Halil Yalgın sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ahmet Necdet Özyurt skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in MeRGeN G.d.'s zone, Enes Naşit stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Necdet Özyurt came out of the goal and Enes Naşit tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Atacan Şahit made a kick off. Enes Naşit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Necdet Özyurt having to interfere. 53 minutes into the match, MeRGeN G.d.'s goal looked a bit too open when Atacan Şahit came free, but Ahmet Necdet Özyurt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atacan Şahit received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ahmet Necdet Özyurt came out and tried to block the shot, but Atacan Şahit slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 64th minute. Enes Naşit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute, Besni SK's Atacan Şahit ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ahmet Necdet Özyurt. Ahmet Necdet Özyurt yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enes Naşit got free with Ahmet Necdet Özyurt in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atacan Şahit in the 78th minute of play forced MeRGeN G.d.'s goalkeeper Ahmet Necdet Özyurt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80thth minute of the game Atacan Şahit who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MeRGeN G.d.'s Ahmet Necdet Özyurt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ahmet Necdet Özyurt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atacan Şahit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enes Naşit recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Besni SK's Enes Naşit got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Seyhan Günay kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Besni SK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
