Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the match, Giresun's goal looked a bit too open when Hasan Eraslan came free, but Aktaç Bedel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aktaç Bedel had in the 7thth minute some difficulties stopping Ragıp Sağcan's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 9th match minute, Giresun was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hafız Usbey to maneuver through the defense. A long shot from Ragıp Sağcan in the 10th minute of play was well struck, but Aktaç Bedel made a really good save at the right post. With a little luck, Giresun's Aktaç Bedel got control of the ball when Şensoy Saraç tried to sneak it across the goal line. Şensoy Saraç came free with the goalkeeper in the 15th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Aktaç Bedel could save by the left post. Giresun's Aktaç Bedel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hasan Eraslan in the 16th minute of play. After 17 played minutes Yedikule JK got a freekick which was hit by Hami Kızıl. In the 25th minute of the match Özdemir Egelioğlu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aktaç Bedel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 31st minute, Şensoy Saraç made a precise shot to the right of Aktaç Bedel. Giresun's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Hasan Eraslan took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aktaç Bedel. Aktaç Bedel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Halil İbrahim Kutun hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. When Şenel Dağtekin fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Giresun's protests and gave Şenel Dağtekin a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Giresun's Şenel Dağtekin got a free kick in the 42nd minute.

The wind increased when Hasan Eraslan made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hasan Eraslan in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aktaç Bedel saved Giresun from getting behind. Özdemir Egelioğlu hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. If Şensoy Saraç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Şenel Dağtekin was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 61 minutes had been played. Şenel Dağtekin kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 66th match minute, Giresun was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bahtiyar Onuktekin to maneuver through the defense. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aktaç Bedel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Hasan Eraslan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aktaç Bedel was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. In the 86th minute, Hami Kızıl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Giresun booed when Yedikule JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hami Kızıl didn't get a good kick on the ball.
