Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Seyhun Hececi started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Selçuk Tokdemir who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 3rdth minute tested the skills of Tamer Urgun when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 6 minutes into the game, Okanay Canver recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tamer Urgun. Okanay Canver showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After recieving a nice pass, Karsiyaka's İlkan Vasif tried to score from far away in the 12th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Okanay Canver blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tamer Urgun having to make a save. Tamer Urgun was a little too slow when Okanay Canver got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 2-0. After having played for 21 minutes, Okanay Canver managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karsiyaka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Okanay Canver was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Şaheser FC's Haluk Tokgöz broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Karsiyaka's zone, Alaaddin Ganim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kutalp Şahsuvaroğlu came out of the goal and Alaaddin Ganim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Okanay Canver came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Karsiyaka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Okanay Canver couldn't finish the play. Karsiyaka's Kutalp Şahsuvaroğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Seyhun Hececi in the 32nd minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Şaheser FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aşık Lebib came free, but Tamer Urgun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Şaheser FC's goalkeeper Tamer Urgun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Selçuk Tokdemir. Tamer Urgun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Okanay Canver in the 45th minute of the match. After having played for 47 minutes, Selçuk Tokdemir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karsiyaka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Selçuk Tokdemir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Okanay Canver made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Karsiyaka's Okanay Canver nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tamer Urgun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Tamer Urgun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Okanay Canver in the 55th minute of play. Selçuk Tokdemir recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 64 played minutes Karsiyaka got a freekick which was hit by Sancar Bedih. Tamer Urgun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Okanay Canver, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Karsiyaka's Okanay Canver in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Şaheser FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 75th minute of the match Sancar Bedih sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tamer Urgun skillfully saved the ball. Gaffar Onal kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Şaheser FC's goal looked a bit too open when Okanay Canver came free, but Tamer Urgun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Selçuk Tokdemir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute, Selçuk Tokdemir ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tamer Urgun was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Karsiyaka fully deserved thier win.
